Chairman’s Message

In my school time 50 years back I was introduced and was working with the  grinding stone (सिल बट्टा) and other Indian villagers kitchen tools for preparing Ayurvedic powder, leps, churan, Khada etc for the help of my grandfather (Nana Ji) who was a holder of Shastri (Hindi: शास्त्री) degree & Ayurvedacharyas (practitioners of Ayurveda) a graduate from Banaras & Prayag Raj Vishwavidyalaya completed in 1919.

My grandfather (Nana Ji) was not working for money but for the service of the poor by the way earning from rich peoples by doing their Spiritual Anushthan (अनुष्ठान) and providing his services as a practitioner of Ayurveda.

After completion of my studies I adopted textiles business line and started my own home textiles manufacturing unit in home town Panipat In 1980 when I started a home textiles production unit as village immigrant in Panipat city at that time SSI unit registries was so hard to do and you shall ready to come on road by paying bribe and you shall ready for more than 100 KM cycling and months in running behind Government officer.

Business regime was booked for tradition family members, favouritism, Inspector raj, banking sector was at consolidation  era, blurred demand, low productivity in agriculture and Industry sectors very and few sectors was generating employment, Cinema owners was count as Raja or richest & wealthiest  person in the society, high poverty and unemployment rate created low purchases power of Indians, air travelling & car was unreachable and unaffordable for 95% of Indian population telephone was a symbol of status, telegram was a tool for fast communication. Opposition of whole family members as business was impossible and they explained or mark business as suicidal work for poor young entrepreneur like me.

During the last more than a year due to COVID-19 pandemic Ayurveda again helped Indians to come out. I am also one of them.

During my three months of corona treatment including 15 days in hospital I realise and experience that all Ayurvedic herbs and jati beauty & yoga was working as a support system for dealing with this deadly & carcinogenic international dilemma.

There was not any other medicines or treatment available of this pandemic you have to date with Yamraj ji and if you are by chance lucky to come back home live from hospital.

During this fight with COVID-19 pandemic some of the things helped and helped  me as armor and shield are will power, strong sanskar of family ayurveda, herbs & yoga.

In 1997 we started Commercial-Agri Farming in our DEHRA (Home) Panipat farm, 26 acres of land located only 55 KM from Delhi International Airport in NCR (National Capital) region. We started this plantation of Poplar with sugar cane, wheat and other Agri, Flori & Horti crops,  as poplar is a deciduous tree belonging to the family of Salicaceae used for making plywood, boards and matchsticks. Today we are also doing cropping, conservation, cultivation, manufacturing, trading & processing for many foods, & herbs & medicine plants like Aloe vera, Tulsi or Holy Basil, Industrial Hemp, Carom / Ajwain, Mint., Coriander etc.

Button Mushroom (Agaricus spp.), Oyster Mushroom & Milky Mushroom is the most popular mushroom variety grown and consumed the world over. In India, its production earlier was limited to the winter season, but with technology development, these are produced almost throughout the year in small, medium and large farms, adopting different levels of technology. The species being grown in most farms is the white button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) belonging to Class Basidiomycetes and Family Agaricaceae.

In 2020 we started cultivation of button mushrooms (a.bisporus). Mushrooms are highly proteinaceous and are used as food. The white button mushroom is sold as fresh mushroom or is canned and made into soups, sauces and other food products.  Protein in mushrooms has 60-70 % digestibility and contains all the essential amino acids. It has medicinal properties also. A high amount of retene is present in the button mushroom which is supposed to have an antagonistic effect on some forms of tumours. The demand for fresh mushrooms is increasing in the international markets. The trend in export of mushrooms (fresh and dried/canned preserved form) from India during the last 10 years is increasing day by day.

Our seasonal cultivation of button mushroom (SC)

In our agro farms seasonal growing of Button Mushroom is done for 4-5 months when outside temperatures are favorable for the crop, i.e., during winter months in N.W. plains from November to March and from September to April in the hills. Starting mushroom cultivation for total production 4000 kg x 2.0 crop = 8000 kg (two crops in a year from one hut) with 40 hut/room = 8 MTx40= 320 MT=total 3,20,000 kg a year by using 2000 bag of 10 kg per hut (Compost) under Seasonal cultivators wether environment.

Cultivation in environment controlled unit (CEC)

For  round the year cultivation of button mushrooms and prerequisites for starting mushroom cultivation for 36000 kg from one room X 6 room (one room is ready for production)= 216 MT=total 2,16,000 kg a year by using 3500 bag of 10 kg (compost) per room under controlled weather environment.
